I remember the Boston Newbury Street store. For a time in the 90s it moved to the corner of Arlington and Stuart Streets to a teeny tiny store. But it was there that I found some lovely maternity-type dresses to wear during my pregnancy in 96. I still have those dresses; they were a soft corduroy, empire cut, one in green and one in blue. They were the most lovely and comfortable dresses I could have ever owned. Thanks for bringing back some lovely memories. It was indeed a sad day when Laura Ashley disappeared from Boston.

Interesting article. I’m in my third year of business and I tend to make more “can’t determine cause” than misdiagnosis. When that happens, I normally explain the difficulty I’m having, do my homework then return (hopefully) to repair the problem and don’t charge for my first visit…I figure I’m still on the learning curve and can’t charge the customer for that.

I really want to know? “IF” we were able to guarantee, without a doubt, that the animal is handled in 100% humane way. Without any form of mental/emotional stress prior to slaughter. If we had an experts, that CAN actually, with ONE shot kill the animal. How many of you would consider this a pliable way to kill a horse? If done correctly, the animal is dead as it falls to the ground. The shot is so well placed, that the animal never really feels anything? It’s done it’s over. How many of you that are against slaughter, would consider slaughter a pliable option? Really, I would like to know.
